Academic Integrity

Academic Integrity. If you don't state where you get your information or plagiarize, you can get kicked out of school and may not be able to attend the school you cheated from. Plagiarism means unauthorized use or close imitation of the language and thoughts of another author and the representation of them as one's own original work. Plagiarism is of great concern to high school and alot college students because it an easier way to get out of an assignment if you don't get caught. Plagiarism is sometimes and most of the time obvious because some teachers can spot it when they first see the paper because they are used to the students writing abilities.
If you need more information on plagiarism here are some interesting websites to look at: http://www.infoplease.com/spot/plagiarism.html,http://plagiarism.phys.virginia.edu/links.html. There are some websites that a teacher can go to search for a paper that may be plagiarized. In my opinion its not worth plagiarizing and losing your scholarship or getting kicked out of school.
