Coping with Change

Coping with change can be for many things weather its for school, outside of school, or the sport you play from high school to college. For me, the change has mainly been for the sport, which is baseball. Its alot different for me because I am a pitcher and the hitters are alot stronger and more discipline at the plate not to swing at bad pitches. The other big thing is that the hitters can hit it opposite field and in high school that where I got most of my outs because all the hitters would try and pull everything. In the school part the biggest thing is the homework. In high school we had homework like every other day or something like that but in college its almost a everyday thing. Its hard when to stay up late and do your homework when you have to wake up at 5:00 to go to morning workouts. Outside of college its different too because you have all these people pressuring you to do something. Peer pressure is not that big of a change though for me because at my high school we had a lot of bad things mainly drugs, or alcohol. Change has been a shock for me because people that went to college have told me that you dont even have to go to class sometimes or there is rarely ever any homework. I was kind of looking forward too that but its not really true because we have to do our homework and our coaches check our classes and even if we miss a day we miss out on the homwork or the notes.
